Conservation Award
In a landmark book published by the Planning and Conservation League Foundation and the California League of Conservation Voters John King was given the distinction of being named an “Everyday Hero” for his work in protecting the water we drink. To have his story told in the book, and to be singled out as one of the top success stories in the 35 years since the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) truly speaks for the significance of this victory and John’s dedication to working on behalf of the people of Sonoma County.
